Welp folks, it's been awhile. I seem to neglect this blog while I'm away at school and for that I'm sorry. However, I am back on the east coast for Easter break. This semester has been really busy for me and I haven't had time to just relax, but this break came just in time. Spring semester seems to be flying by and in about a month, it'll be summer. Let me catch you up on all that I have been doing. I was recently initiated into a sorority on my campus, Pi Beta Phi. Honestly, I never really saw myself as a sorority girl, but even though I've only been a member for just about three months now, I already see how it's making a difference in my life. I am still an ambassador for boohoo.com and am in the process of organizing my event that is slowly creeping up on me. Lastly, I am directing a 10 minute play for a festival that my theatre department is putting on at the end of the semester. I am both nervous and excited for everyone to see this play, for it is something I love - the writer, my actors, everything. The topic/message of this play is one that is very relevant in our society today and I just want to do it justice. That's all for now and I PROMISE to keep my posts up. Expect a lot more when summer hits!

Hey ya'll I'm back! I know I've been MIA for awhile, but sophomore year in California has started up again and I have been nonstop super busy. Recently, I have become a Boohoo ambassador for my college! *insert cheers of excitement here* Now, most of know what Boohoo is, but for those who don't, I'll explain! Boohoo.com is a fashion website based in Manchester, England since 2006. Boohoo has made a splash across the pond and because of this, they set their searches out to 15 colleges across the US looking for two students from each to be their ambassadors.

I am beyond honored to be chosen as a boohoo ambassador for my school. I have always loved fashion and to share this passion with not only you guys but now with my peers at school is really a blessing. Boohoo.com is fun yet affordable with tons of new clothing pieces popping up everyday. GO CHECK THEM OUT!!!

Here are some pieces that I picked off of their website to style and I could not be happier with my choices. Hope these give you a little insight on my take of the latest fashion trends. As well as inspiring you to go out there and make some noise, take those trends and make them your own, because that is what fashion is all about!!

Summer Shoe Haul

Over the course of these last two weeks, I have been on the look out for some new shoes. I'm one of those people who loves shoes, but tends not to buy them and instead buys clothes? Anyone else like that? Well, anyway, I looked through my closet and I realized that I don't have ANY shoes for summer - only one pair of sandals, my studded loafers, converse, a pair of ankle booties, and winter boots.

How can I possibly be living with only one pair of sandals -- ONE!! After realizing this, I took it upon myself to go out with my mom and hunt down some shoes, cause Lord knows I need them. I got some pretty good deals on these shoes, which is a major bonus in my book. So let's begin!!

First, I stumbled on into good ol' Famous Footwear, where they're always marking down shoes and having sales.

If you don't know, I LOVE Steve Madden and his shoes. I got these casual sandals on sale and saved myself $30! They go with just about everything!

Yes yes, I got boots and yes, I know it's summer. But I still think you can wear these little booties in the summer. Especially with a cute summer dress! I already have ankle booties in black, so I decided to get them in tan. I saved myself about $50. What a bargain!!

Another Steve Madden, I know. But I saved $30 on these classics! They are so classy looking, especially with the ankle strap. Normally, I'm not a fan of pointy flats, just because they aren't flattering on my little feet, but these were perfect! Especially for my new job!

Next, I popped on over to Macy's. I saw these shoes in the store, but didn't have the chance to buy them, since they didn't have my size! So I got on the trusty dusty web and ordered them!

Now, I've never own Nine West shoes before, but when I saw these, I was like I need them in my life! They reminded me of Birkenstocks, but at a much, much cheaper price. I saved about $30 on these! Not only are they casual, but super comfortable!

Aren't these a beaut?? I fell in love with them when I saw them at the store. The black, white, and tan just compliment each other so nicely. I never heard of Tahari before,
but boy are these comfortable! These were quite expensive though,
but Macy's was having a 4th of July sale. I save about $18, which isn't too bad!

So there you have it! Now I have choices to choose from when I open my closet, instead of just one pair of sandals! Today I'm filming my first YouTube video. I'll also make a blog post about it too. Let me know what kind of videos you guys think I should film! I'm still in the process of making the channel. But if I film the whole video today, it should be up sometime next week! I'll keep you guys posted!

Time to let the weekend begin!
